Peruvians can now virtually conduct consular procedures

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is working intensively through agreements with State entities, to ensure that Peruvian compatriots, who live in the country or abroad, can virtually carry out their consular procedures.

Foreign Minister Mario López Chavarri said that “compatriots will no longer have to go to the premises. Now they will be able to carry out, in a virtual way, the procedures and procedures they require through our consular network”, he pointed out in an interview with a news agency.

In this context, he explained that agreements have been signed with the National Superintendency of Public Registries (Sunarp) and with the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec).

López Chávarri added that, from his portfolio, they will continue to advance to increase the number of virtual procedures in order to benefit the Peruvian population.

In the area of ​​migration, he highlighted the work of the Peruvian government in repatriation and care for compatriots abroad. Finally, he indicated that they have some projects related to preferential attention to Peruvians abroad.
