The iconic Santa Rosa Flower Market in Lima has caught the attention of international magazine Vogue, one of the most influential fashion and culture platforms in the world. In September, Vogue dedicated a special article to the sale of flowers in this emblematic Lima market, highlighting the natural beauty of the country, as well as the honesty and resilience of the people who dedicate themselves to this noble work.
This market, known for the trade of a vast variety of flowers grown in different regions of the country, is also a reflection of dedication and effort. Vogue highlights that, despite economic and social challenges, flower producers have managed to keep the spirit of the community alive through the sale of flowers, demonstrating an admirable capacity for adaptation and resilience.
This international recognition promotes tourism in Lima. The flower exports in Peru have been increasing steadily in recent years, with the United States, the Netherlands, and Canada being the main destination markets for fresh flower exports.
