Greetings to our independence and to our strong and happily growing country!
Canada is a strong country because of our diversity. We are all equal members of this beautiful land.
Although there are historical errors that we cannot change, we can certainly work to build a better future; one that reflects our values of resilience, respect, hope, and generosity, values that the Maple Leaf on our flag represents.
Let's challenge ourselves to always live up to Canada's great ethical and human values.

Because AI technologies evolve quickly, the Peruvian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce aims to encourage conversations about such threats and how to mitigate them to maximize the opportunities it enables for society.
If you are a higher education professor, academic staff, or a professional interested in AI, join us on Friday, July 14 (4 pm EDT / 3 pm Peru) for a Fireside Chat with two Canadian experts in AI, Education, and Ethics: WILLIAM DICK - President of CVM Data Sciences, and AMIR GHAZINOORI - Ph.D. in Management and Organization.

On these important dates, we feel more strongly about everything that makes us Peruvian and allows us to reflect on our past, present, and future.
Living far from the Homeland, from our families, and from our roots, the distance makes it necessary to have the courage and tenacity to face the challenges that arise in the search for new opportunities. This also represents a challenge for the transmission and acceptance of our rich culture by the new generations born abroad.
Despite this, the attachment to what is ours is strong and imperturbable.
As we commemorate one more anniversary of our independence, we wish each of you and your families a Happy 28 of July!
