Canadians have a rich history of volunteering and community involvement. This year, Canada's theme for National Volunteer Week is: Volunteering Is Empathy In Action! Seeing the world through the eyes of others, and expanding our views, contributes to a vibrant, inclusive society.
On Sunday, April 24, look out over the Toronto skyline and see the CN Tower's orange and blue light show, and on April 25, stroll through Nathan Phillips Square to see the Toronto sign lit up; all as a tribute to volunteers.
We at PCCC join the rest of Canada in the celebrations and take this opportunity to thank our Volunteers for their resilience and commitment, and for donating their time and energy.
