Letter from the PCCC President - Strategic Plan for 2022

Looking back on our performance in 2021 as we get ready for 2022, it is a great time to reflect on what we have accomplished, and the plans we have for an exciting 2022.

Our Strategic Plan for 2022 focuses on 4 main areas. Firstly, we will expand our efforts to develop new strategic partnerships which will drive benefits to our members and our communities by supporting our vision of creating opportunities and connections. Secondly, for our members, the focus is on improving our services provided in terms of quality of service and quantity. All of our work won't be possible without our volunteers, so our third area of focus is to implement mentoring programs and development for our volunteers to attract and keep the right talent. Lastly to continue strengthening the core of our organization by the continuous improvement of our process and standards.

Textile del Valle (Peru) and Lululemon (Canada), hand in hand with Sustainability

For some years, Textil Del Valle (TDV), whose main factory is in Chincha, Peru, and the Canadian company Lululemon have developed an alliance that goes far beyond commercial contracts. For 4 years now, various Sustainability programs have been carried out through the "Here 2 Be" program, which benefits the more than 3,000 workers that the Peruvian company has.

The correct application of these programs, together with those proper of TDV (energy saving, fabric recycling, water treatment) led Lululemon to recognize them as the textile company with the greatest sustainable impact among all its suppliers in the world, as part of the "Vendor Summit Awards 2021" held by the Canadian company last November.

UP Business Administration students participate in the International Double Degree program and study at HEC Montreal

The International Double Degree program of the Universidad del Pacífico (UP) allows its students to obtain two academic degrees, one awarded by the UP and the other by the business school HEC Montreal which will allow them to give their careers an international dimension and fulfill their aspirations of studying abroad.

These are the main global and regional categories in which Peru was recognized as the Best River Cruise Destination in the World and the Best River Cruise Destination in Latin America.
