July 1st is the day we celebrate the anniversary of Canada’s confederation, which happened when the British North America Act took effect in 1867, bringing together the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia into one Dominion within the British Empire.
We’d love for you to listen to Prime Minister Carney’s message about unity, resilience, and our shared goals.
Today, let’s take a moment to celebrate what fills us with pride—our home, our culture, our people—and the values that strengthen our nation. Happy Canada Day to everyone across this beautiful land!
