Over the years, the Pisco Sour has become part of the national identity, pride, and joy of all Peruvians. Whether there is something to celebrate, meet friends, or welcome strangers and foreigners, this drink is always there.
For this reason, the Pisco Sour was declared Cultural Patrimony of the Nation in 2007 by the National Institute of Culture (INC), and the first Saturday of February of each year was decreed as National Pisco Sour Day - which leads to the establishment of the International Pisco Sour Day so that the world can also enjoy this drink.
We share with you the PROMPERU catalog with the history of Peruvian pisco and the elaboration of the majestic Pisco Sour, among other recipes (Chilcano, Capitan, Pisco Point, Pisco Tropical).
Brindemos por el Peru! ...A toast to Peru!

In 2022, despite the pandemic, Peru managed to start a new mine and will soon complete the construction of another. In addition, they have expanded several mines and received approval to start new mining projects. But recent social unrest is now jeopardizing contract compliance and stalled purchase orders creating notable challenges for Canadian mining suppliers in Peru.
On Monday, March 6th, at the 2023 Peru day at PDAC, we seek to identify lessons learned from these circumstances and identify opportunities in the context of enhancing the virtues of the Peruvian mining industry and overcoming the flaws that have slowed down its dynamism in recent years, by contrasting the views and proposals of mining leaders and senior government officers.
