It is with great pleasure that the PCCC extends its warmest congratulations to Javier Del Rio on his recent appointment to the Kuya Silver Board of Directors. Javier is a Peruvian mining executive who has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry in both corporate and business unit roles.
Currently, as VP South America and USA for Hudbay Minerals Inc, Javier has created and implemented strategies that have enabled aggressive revenue growth for Hudbay's largest open-pit mine in Latin America. The business unit has grown while maintaining its status as the lowest-cost producer in Latin America. By reinventing ways to use technology within mining operations he has improved KPIs across the board. His multicultural background and experience bridge the cultural gap allowing him to cultivate strong working relationships with government and community leaders.
Once again congratulations.

Kuya Silver Corporation President and CEO, David Stein, announced new discoveries at the Bethania Silver Project in Huancavelica, Peru, made through its ongoing surface sampling program.
David Stein stated, "With numerous mineralized veins and structures right at surface, mapping and sampling the vein systems keeps providing us with more and more exciting targets. In the past, rudimentary exploration of the Bethania veins through underground tunnelling gave us a great starting point, our surface sampling program combined with drilling is revealing a bigger and more complex vein system with significant growth potential. On top of that, now that we have a district-scale land package under our control, we can repeat our exploration process on several other high-priority targets nearby."

Peru will occupy the Presidency of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) in 2024, announced the current president of APEC, Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha.
This foreign policy achievement represents a clear opportunity for the country to consolidate its international projection across the world's most innovative, dynamic, and fastest-growing region.
Likewise, it will allow Peru to be positioned as a destination for investment and tourism, which will contribute to the post-pandemic economic reactivation process.

Peru will become a digital development hub for the region. This came after the announcement by the technological transnational brand Amazon Web Services (AWS) choosing our country as a new local zone for its public cloud infrastructure -as part of its expansion strategy in Latin America.
As a local zone (AWS Local Zones), the company will place computing, storage, database, and other cloud services near large centers of population, industry, and information technology.
This level of investment in infrastructure and digital platforms -to be located in the city of Lima- will open up great opportunities for the country's digital ecosystem, as well as for economic reactivation, employability, digital entrepreneurship, and the national digital transformation process.
