Latin American Bilateral Initiative in Toronto

Latin American Bilateral Trade Initiative (LABTI) is an initiative that started in March 2016 between the Economic and Cultural Development Committee of Toronto and the consulates of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay.

The objective of LABTI is to promote the commercial development between Toronto and our countries, as well as to promote the entrepreneurs from our countries who live in Toronto.

This year, LABTI brought you “Back to Basics”. Topics covered were:

  • “How to start a Business”
  • “Food Entrepreneurship in Toronto”
  • “Import/Export for small Businesses”
  • Business Opportunities with Latin America Panel, and Success Stories!

The event took place Thursday, May 30th at the North York Civic Centre – Council Chambers.
