The Canadian government is one of the largest purchasers of goods and services in Canada. The main objective of this seminar was to familiarize Peruvian entrepreneurs based in Canada with the public procurement process (BIDS) at the federal level. Now, they will be able to serve as a link with Peruvian exporters to offer Peruvian goods and services to Canadian public entities.
On July 20th, The Embassy of Peru in Canada, the Consulate General of Peru in Toronto, the Consulate General of Peru in Vancouver, the Consulate General of Peru in Montreal, and South America and the Interamerican System at Global Affairs Canada, came together to share with the Peruvian community their vision of the relations between Peru and Canada and projections for their improvement.
On June 22, the Trade Commissioner Services in Peru presented a report with collected intelligence, necessary for Canadian companies to understand the Peruvian construction market, measure the opportunities and challenges in the construction sector, identify the main characteristics, portfolio of relevant projects and key players.
Our Mining Conference: Greenfields exploration in Peru: Reality and Opportunities, took place in person on June 13. The opportunities and challenges of Peru's current greenfield and brownfield projects were presented, concluding that the country has some of the best exploration potential as its economy continues to be robust and expanding.
On May 26th, Peruvian entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs in British Columbia (BC) benefited from learning about the steps necessary to build a successful business in BC, as well as incentives for their small businesses.
