Thank you and Farewell

On August 29, the Board of Directors of the PCCC met with Ana Cecilia Gervasi, Consul General of Peru in Toronto, at a farewell reunion and presented her a plaque of recognition and appreciation for her great work and constant support to the Chamber in the last 2 years that her consular period lasted.

At the meeting, the Directors also had the opportunity to welcome Mr. Italo Augusto Acha Puertas, the new Consul General of Peru in Toronto.

A gift from Peru!

The Consulate General of Peru and the Peruvian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, are pleased to present Lucho Quequezana, one of the most important contemporary Peruvian musicians and composers, and one of the main promoters of Peruvian culture in the world.

Lucho has been appointed ambassador of the “Trademark Peru” for making distant cultures fall in love with Peruvian Music. He is one of the key figures of Peruvian Music worldwide.

Latin American Bilateral Initiative in Toronto

Latin American Bilateral Trade Initiative (LABTI) is an initiative that started on March 2016 between the Economic and Cultural Development Committee of Toronto and the consulates of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Uruguay.

The objective of LABTI is to promote the commercial development between Toronto and our countries, as well as to promote the entrepreneurs from our countries who live in Toronto.

75 years of diplomatic relations Peru Canada

"Today is a special day for Peru and Canada, since 75 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations are commemorated.

This anniversary represents a special occasion to reaffirm the values and principles shared by both countries, such as the rule of law and the defense of democratic institutions, respect and promotion of human rights, the sustainable use of natural resources and the fight against climate change as well as the defense of free trade and the promotion of cultural diversity and the rights of indigenous peoples and women.
