Latin American Bilateral Initiative in Toronto

This year, Peru was represented in the Panel discussion on “Business Opportunities with Latin America”, by Mr. Omar Salas Vice-President of the Peruvian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Latin American Bilateral Trade Initiative (LABTI) is an initiative that started on March 2016 between the Economic and Cultural Development Committee of Toronto and the consulates of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Uruguay.

The objective of LABTI is to promote the commercial development between Toronto and our countries, as well as to promote the entrepreneurs from our countries who live in Toronto.

This year, LABTI brought you "Back to Basics". Topics covered were:

  • "How to start a Business"
  • "Food Entrepreneurship in Toronto"
  • "Import/Export for small Businesses"
  • Business Opportunities with Latin America Panel, and Success Stories!

The event took place Thrusday, May 30th at the North York Civic Centre - Council Chambers.
